Nurse Practitioners are Registered Nurses (RNs) that are also referred to as Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) and have a Master’s Degree in Nursing and board certification in their special field. They have education and training in specialty areas such as family practice, women’s health, or pediatrics. Family Nurse Practitioners have acquired the necessary and expert knowledge, skills, and training in caring for people of all ages.
